woohoo!
i found a place to live!!!
it's a 2 bedroom 2 bath 1080 sq ft apartment :)
it's on the 3rd floor - which is the top floor - so i wont have upstairs neighbors EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
The place is brand new! they still need to pour the pool! it's going to be great :)
and i'm living right next door to raj :) yay!!!

back
ok i lied.
i really didnt use myspace.
cause myspace kinda sucks too...
anyhoo.
having so much free time on my hand is really weird... i'm used to working about 13-14 hours a day and actually having things to DO. but now i have NOTHING to do. it's really really odd... i dont remember the last time i didnt have any responsibilities...
but at least the nba playoffs started :) now i can watch LOTS of basketball!! yay!!
and if only i had a dog, i could go to the park. it would be weird to go there w/o a dog for the purpose of playing with other people's dogs... speaking of which, i saw the silliest little dog today. it was like a bag of cotton balls. hehe :)
it is also hard to find a place to live online... i've been searching and searching and keep coming up with the same list of apartments in winston-salem. we have to go there and look at them i guess... it's a 7 hour drive! it sucks cause I can't read in the car cause i get carsick... so i just have to sit there and listen to music.
anyways, i've been filling my time with lots of TV. I LOVE TV.
you know the guy in the bachelor went to UCSF for med school? that's insane. i thought he was a dumbo. i guess not! though, i bet there's something wrong with him - he's on the bachelor after all. i mean come ON, he's a SURGEON, in the navy, and is actually smart, and he's STILL single? maybe he's got a tail or something... he's probably a cocky jerk in reality.
also, notes from the underbelly is a FUNNY show! i love these comedies that dont have laugh tracks. i highly recommend it. so far, the 2 episodes have been top notch.

so i haven't written here in a long time. mainly becuase i've been busy. and becuase i've been freaking out ALMOST 24/7.
why medicine must be the most dramatic field, i dont know. but whatever. what's done is done.
anyhoo, i finally got to do some amputations this last month. FINALLY! i know it sounds like im taking joy in someone else's misery... but not really. because it's not like we're going around chopping legs off willy nilly. these people have pain, can't walk, etc etc. and when you do the amp, then the pain is gone and they can get a prosthesis and be mobile again.
really, all of medicine is like that. like, chemotherapy sucks... but if it helps the patient with their cancer, then it's good.
same thing with amps. (but they're just a bit more gruesome than chemo)
so anyways. yay for me for getting to do procedures. (i also go to take out veins)
we went to the michigan/osu hockey game yesterday and michigan won :) yay!!
